There are cool shows are TV with all kinds of new scientific and educational discoveries. Now there is a new show on the Discovery Channel called Smash Lab. The premise of Smash Lab is that they take everyday technology and apply it in revolutionary new ways to the betterment of all society. Tomorrow, the Smash Lab team will be testing whether a special type of carbon fiber used to reinforce tunnels can be used to hurricane-proof residential homes - which, with our rapidly changing climate, could prove to be VERY useful in the near future!
