Millions Suffer Through Massive Power Failures

Electrical workers worked through the night to fix power lines December 14, 2008 in Londonderry, New Hampshire. An ice storm on December 12 knocked out power to 1.4 million people in upstate New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. President George W. Bush declared a state of emergency in New Hampshire.
