Background:
Paul Warburton lives in Manchester, England. He was born in St Albans and lived in the south of England until he married. He has taught at the University of Leicester, a large independent boys school in north London and he is currently Head of Geography at Manchester High School for Girls. He has written numerous articles and several textbooks including
Atmospheric Processes and Human Influence (Collins Educational).
Interests:
Paul is a committed Christian and he attends a church in south Manchester with his wife and daughter. He has three children, one studying at Nottingham University, one completing A levels and the youngest studying for her GCSEs. Paul runs the Christian Union at his school and although he gets great satisfaction from teaching Geography, seeing his students grow in confidence and ability and develop a faith is most rewarding. Paul enjoys gardening and travel and plays badminton. He is also interested in model railways attending exhibitions and developing his own layouts (something his wife tolerates!)
Education:
Paul has a Bachelors Geography degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a Master of Philosophy degree in Geography.
