Average Zambia Weather Conditions by Location

By Rachelle Oblack, About.com

Climate: The climate of Zambia is considered to be tropical. The tropical conditions are moderated by the altitude and a rainy season which runs from October to April.

Location: Zambia is located in Southern Africa, east of Angola.

Environment: Environmental issues in Zambia are air pollution which results in acid rain in the mineral extraction and refining regions. Chemical runoff in these regions also leaks into local watersheds. Poaching seriously threatens the rhinoceros, elephant, antelope, and large cat populations. In addition, deforestation, soil erosion, desertification, and a lack of adequate water treatment presents risks to human health.

Current Weather: The following list of locations in Zambia is provided for your convenience. You may select the desired city or regional location for the current weather conditions.
