Climate: The climate of Jamaica is considered tropical with hot, humid temperatures and a temperate interior.

Location: Jamaica is an island in the Caribbean Sea, south of Cuba.

Environment: Environmental issues in Jamaica include heavy rates of deforestation. Coastal waters are polluted by industrial waste, sewage, and oil spills. In addition, damage to coral reefs is prevalent. Air pollution in Kingston results from vehicle emissions.
