Following in October's footsteps, November was another globally above-average month, says the NOAA National Climatic Data Center. When temperatures over land and sea are averaged worldwide, they measure 1.21°F (0.67°C) higher than the long-term average of 60.4°F (12.9°c).
November, it seems, is no stranger to warm temperatures--every one since 1975 has ranked above-average! (The warmest November on record was November 2004. It was 1.35°F (0.75°C) above-normal).
