Following in October's footsteps, November was another globally above-average month, says the NOAA National Climatic Data Center. When temperatures over land and sea are averaged worldwide, they measure 1.21F (0.67C) higher than the long-term average of 60.4F (12.9c).

November, it seems, is no stranger to warm temperatures--every one since 1975 has ranked above-average!(The warmest November on record was November 2004. It was 1.35F (0.75C) above-normal).
