Satellites and Weather: A Profile of 3 NASA Missions

Weather forecasting and climate prediction have become easier since the days of weather maps drawn by hand. Satellites that circle our globe daily are responsible for a multitude of mission directorates. Here, I focus on three satellites that are helpful in weather science. You will find videos and pictures of the QuikSCAT, TRMM, and CALIPSO Satellites. A mission profile as well as links will take you to the appropriate NASA satellite page.
